Fan Mail
Fred Rossi here. I enjoy your Pod and the sport/work/life balance issues you discuss. I’m a 62-yr old male triathlete starting my 8th 70.3 season. I usually start weight training 3x/wk about 1 month after the race season ends. I continue until the spring when I taper the weights and start the race training. In the lifting season I still swim/spin/run but in lower volumes. My question is, “how much weight work should I be doing during race training and the race season itself?” Thanks for the advice in advance.
